Are you inspired by connected machines, digital services and turning data into practical customer value? In this role, you will play an important part in developing Tana’s digital services portfolio, including TanaConnect, eSpares and future AI-enabled solutions.

Your responsibilities:

As a Digital Solutions Engineer, you act as the link between business needs, solution users and software development teams. You ensure that digital solutions meet customer needs, support Tana’s long-term vision and deliver measurable value throughout their lifecycle.

You coordinate day-to-day cooperation with our digital development partners, including sprint activities, requirement clarification and development follow-up. You monitor progress and quality, ensure that agreed requirements are met and escalate technical, schedule or resource-related risks when needed.

You gather and analyze requirements from customers, dealers and Tana internal teams and translate them into clear technical specifications. You maintain development backlogs, coordinate acceptance testing and validate delivered functionality against the agreed requirements.

You support the continuous development of TanaConnect and other customer- and dealer-facing digital services. You contribute to the implementation of approved roadmap initiatives and releases and drive continuous improvement across the digital service lifecycle.

You also participate in the development of data-driven services, analytics and AI-enabled solutions. This includes initiatives related to predictive maintenance, intelligent reporting and machine performance monitoring, as well as evaluating new technologies and development opportunities.

In this role, you collaborate closely with customers, dealers, internal stakeholders and external partners in digitalization, integration and AI projects. Through your work, you help ensure that business needs, technical development and customer value remain aligned.

What we expect from you:

We are looking for a technically minded professional with relevant education in software engineering, information technology, automation, data engineering or another related field. Equivalent practical experience may also provide a strong foundation for succeeding in the role.

You have previous experience in digital services, software products, industrial IoT solutions or a similar environment. You understand requirements engineering, backlog management, testing and release coordination, and are familiar with agile software development practices.

You have a good understanding of cloud services, APIs, integrations and data platforms. Experience in coordinating external development partners and working with multiple stakeholders is important.

Experience in fleet management, telematics, industrial IoT, mobile machinery, industrial equipment or heavy-duty vehicle environments is considered an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar platforms is also beneficial. Experience in AI, machine learning, data analytics or predictive maintenance solutions would further support your success in the role.

You work systematically and take ownership of development topics, while remaining able to prioritize and respond pragmatically when requirements, schedules or technical circumstances change. You communicate clearly, cooperate effectively with different stakeholders and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. Fluency in written and spoken English is required; Finnish is considered an advantage.
